Is cat for Melody.

When I  was a young girl, my first and best friend was a farm dog named Splinter. (I still miss him.) When I dreamed about what I wanted to be when I grew up, the list was a varied one: a roller derby queen, a carnival hawker, a scientist, an author, or a friend to all pets.

Once adulthood arrived, the list of reasons why my dream jobs hadn’t manifested was also a varied one. I’d worked corporate jobs and gone to college to earn a couple of random degrees, but I was still a friend to all pets and had a steady stream of pet-sitting side gigs. Frequent corporate re-organizations and layoffs became a norm. I was used to the ebb and flow, but always enjoyed the time between those jobs because it meant more time to spend with pets! After the last layoff, a moment of clarity struck—my true love had been there all along! My part-time pet-sitting gigs evolved into a full-time career.

I look forward to providing a variety of services, including dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and pet taxiing. I’m very comfortable with all kinds of situations and pet personalities, from a rambunctious new kitten or puppy, a pet with medical needs, or senior sweeties.
